Student Support

ARCAI 2026 is committed to supporting student participation and encouraging the next generation of researchers in robotics, control, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems.

The conference will provide:

  • Discounted student registration rates

  • Best Student Paper Award

  • Best Student Presentation Award

  • Student networking opportunities with keynote speakers, invited speakers, and senior researchers

  • Opportunities for students to participate as volunteers and engage with the conference organisation

 

Subject to available sponsorship and conference resources, ARCAI 2026 may also provide a limited number of student support awards, such as registration waivers or partial travel assistance, for outstanding student participants.

 

Student Travel Grant

 

ARCAI 2026 is pleased to offer a limited number of Student Travel Grants to support student participation in the conference.

Purpose

The Student Travel Grant program aims to encourage students to present their research, engage with the international research community, and benefit from networking opportunities with leading academics and industry professionals.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, master's, or doctoral degree program;

  • Be an author or co-author of an accepted ARCAI 2026 paper;

  • Attend the conference and present the paper in person;

  • Demonstrate academic merit and the potential benefit of attending the conference.

Support

Subject to available sponsorship and conference resources, successful applicants may receive:

  • Complimentary or discounted conference registration;

  • Partial travel reimbursement;

  • Accommodation support.

The level of support will vary depending on available funding and the number of applications received.

Application Process

Applicants will be required to submit:

  1. A short statement outlining how participation in ARCAI 2026 will benefit their studies and research;

  2. Proof of student enrolment;

  3. A copy of the accepted paper.

 

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on:

  • Technical quality of the accepted paper;

  • Academic achievements;

  • Relevance of the research to the conference themes;

  • Potential impact of conference participation on the applicant's professional development.
